Master 's Program

History

Since August 1st, 1995, under the guidance of the first dean/professor Deng-Yuan Huang, second dean/professor Rui-Zhao Chen, third dean/professor Zheng-Fu Liu, the forth chair/professor Yue-Ren Shao/professor Te-Hsin Liang, Fu Jen University’s Institute of Applied Statistics has already trained hundreds of outstanding professional analysts. The department is subordinate to the College of Management and since April 15, 2005, has passed approval by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Feature.

Feature

  1. The department’s objective is to train professional talent along with academic talent for tutoring. Therefore, not only will professional training be taken seriously, but also, learning to be competent in expression, communication, self-study and team cooperation skills will be trained as well.
  2. The department’s main objective for training is “statistics and management integration”. Teaching aspects, however, emphasize “learning while working” and regard the close integration of theory and practice as a focal point for fostering development skills for management policy makers.
  3. The department encourages students to take part in every collaborative project so that students can utilize theory and apply it to analyzing practical/applied/real affairs. Academic Credentials Master students who graduate with 32 credits (not including a thesis and six credits of English) will be awarded a Master of Science in Management, (M.S.)。
