The department is aimed at specially training student’s entrance exam qualifications in areas that may be restricted in the future. This will cause students’ backgrounds to be more diversified and will expand their professional view. The program is subordinate to the college of management and since April 15, 2005, has passed approval by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Feature
- The department encourages students to use problems within the workforce and to merge them into course related discussion. By doing so, students will learn skills for solving practical affairs within work and will apply theory into practice and analysis.
- The department’s objective is to cultivate professional talent and academic talent for tutoring. Therefore, not only will professional training be taken seriously, but also, learning to be competent in expression, communication, self-study and team cooperation skills will be trained as well.
- The department’s main objective for training is “statistics and management integration.” Teaching aspects, however, emphasize “learning while working” and regard the close integration of theory and practice as a focal point for fostering continuous development and management policy.
