[International Collaboration] Fu Jen Catholic University Signs 4+1 Bridge Program Agreement with Seattle University

Enrollment Begins in 2025 | Info Sessions Available in May–June 


 Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU), the largest comprehensive university in Taiwan with a student body of 26,000, has officially signed a 4+1 Bridge Program agreement with Seattle University. The College of Management, the largest college at FJCU, enrolls approximately 2,600 undergraduate students and 400 graduate and doctoral students. On February 24, Dr. Joseph Orlando, Assistant to the Vice President of Seattle University, and Mr. Dario Ogaz, Senior Specialist for International Education, visited Fu Jen Catholic University, where they were warmly welcomed by Dean Mei-Juh Huang and Associate Dean Hsiao-Yun Huang of the College of Management.   


Expanding International Learning Opportunities 

 The meeting focused on the 4+1 Bridge Program agreement between the two universities, as well as FJCU's experience in expanding English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) courses. Dr. Orlando highlighted Seattle's dynamic business environment, home to world-renowned companies such as Amazon, Google, Starbucks, Microsoft, and Costco, offering outstanding internship opportunities for international students. He expressed enthusiasm in welcoming Fu Jen students to further their studies at Seattle University.   


A Leading Institution in Bilingual and Business Education 


 The FJCU College of Management comprises five undergraduate programs and six master's programs, offering the highest number of English-taught courses among all colleges at FJCU. In alignment with Taiwan’s 2030 Bilingual Nation Policy, the college has been awarded the Ministry of Education’s Bilingual Learning Initiative for Higher Education, providing students with diverse English course options to enhance their global competitiveness.
